Adults (Ages 18+)
Tuesday, February 19 // 7:00-9:00pm
In a world where texting, DMs, and emails rule, we could all benefit from a little personal connection—the kind that doesn’t begin and end at a screen. The kind that’s tactile, full of nostalgia, and—dare we say it?—handmade. Join us for an adults-only evening of art-making in a supportive and relaxed environment with a range of media at your fingertips—you’ll have no choice but to get creative. And whether you think of them as postcards, or mini masterpieces, or Honey, I Shrunk the Artwork—working on this small scale and in multiples will allow you to detach and let your creativity flow!
Each session begins with an intro to a new technique, and then we’ll set you loose to choose your own art-making adventure. Whether you feel inspired to immerse yourself in the suggested media or decide to explore our curated collection of materials and supplies, you’ll have fun letting loose, mixing media, and creating on your own terms. Experiment and explore collage, paint, printmaking, and more to make a collection of personal artwork that you’ll be proud to hang on your walls or send to old friends, pen pals, or even grandma.
All materials will be provided.
